The Geneva Lake Environmental Agency is looking forward to an interesting summer. Of major importance will be the groundwater flow modeling project for the Geneva Lake area. Working with area stakeholders, the Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey and UW-Extension, a proposed study has been put together to include baseline data collection and modeling. The Agency has prepared a funding proposal to pay for the project that includes over 12 stakeholders, including all the area communities, major water users and several organizations who are concerned about the future of Geneva Lake. Data collection will begin this summer with an expected completion date of May 2008.

Planning has already begun for the Geneva Lake Environmental Agency's first "Preserve Geneva Lake Sunset Cruise". Tickets will go on sale early this summer along with a solicitation for silent auction item.
