The Geneva Lake Environmental Agency's
office is located on the Campus of the George Williams College of Aurora
University in Williams Bay. We are continuing to add updated lake data to our

After over a year of data collection and model refinement a
groundwater model has been completed for the Geneva Lake Area. Working with
area stakeholders, the Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey(WGNHS)
and UW-Extension, the model was designed to look at the impact of high capacity
wells on the water table, streams, seepages and Geneva Lake. The Study was
funded by over 12 stakeholders, including all the area communities, major water
users and several organizations who are concerned about the future of Geneva
Lake. A copy of a fact sheet on the model's finding is available at the WGNHS

During the summer of 2009 the Agency will conduct a lake wide
aquatic plant survey.
