I am confident that we will be victorious when all is said and done in Trappers situation. All that myself and others involved in Trappers situation learn from this experience will be knowledge and armourment for others in the future faced with the same obstacles. I believe , through education , in teaching one person to teach one person to care, that we can be victorious in all our endeavors to help the animals against human cruelty, indifference and ignorance. As a unified family and as team members, each and everyone of us MAKE A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE within the animal kingdom. This spring, we were able to rescue several baby lynx from a fur farm in South Dakota. I regret to tell you , with deep sorrow, that none of the lynx at any of the facilities that participated in their care, survived. Our own precious beloved Kanuk crossed over the bridge of Forever August 10th of this past summer to join his brother lynx , Dakota , who crossed the bridge of Forever earlier that summer. Shortly after loosing Kanuk, we lost Wicca, a baby bob cat, who died from birth defects undected until an autopsy. Cause of death was directly attributed to "inbreeding", God Bless Fur Farmers. I swore, I could not go through this heartache again and again and again. As I have for so many yrs. Yet, shortly after, we had the opportunity to take in a little female bobi, knowing fully!! that she had been inbred, (here I go again) And of course, I did not hesitate, I brought her here. She was named in honor of those who had gone before her, and for the battles to come, Spirits Summer Warrior. She was soooooo cross-eyed that when she looked at you she could see into the kitchen and the living room at the same time. At different ends of the house!
