With Dad pulling hard in the straps, Team 45's Andy and Bob Burdick win the 2001 C-National Championship on Geneva Lake, June 14-16, besting 70 other competitors in conditions which ranged through raging blows, rain squalls and resplendent delight.

Dave Risch (E-33) and Mike Malosh lead the fleet down the first run of Race 3. In close pursuit is Beulah's Brian Brickler (B-18). Then came the rain with radical shifts on nearly every new front.

Always a contender, Okauchee's Mark Prange and crew, Bob Stelter, push it hard upwind, winning the rain race by a comfortable margin.
