Minutes from the Regular Monthly Meeting on Monday April 16, 2001.

Call to order at 7:00 p.m. by Markut

Commissioners: Bill Markut, John Derks and Eileen Stefanski present. Also present was Kirt Ludwig, Attorney, and Bob Benson, Engineer from Baxter and Woodman.

Agenda posting was verified by John Derks.

Derks made a motion, seconded by Markut to approve the minutes from the March 16th regular monthly meeting, Motion passed unanimously

Stefanski made a motion, seconded by Derks, to approve checks numbered 1225, 3257-3294, balance on hand $3,722,669.04, Motion passed unanimously

Kirt Ludwig gave the Attorney’s report on progress of the easements for the water looping, Wuttke and Walter are complete. The rest should be almost complete by next months meeting. Had court date on April 11th on hookups. Commissioners have copy from Jim Marquart as to what happened in court.

Bob Benson gave Engineers report on Looping project with not much progress to report. Mann should be here again on April 23rd to restart the looping project. Part of the looping project installed earlier will be pressure tested. Flow meters will be available from B & W next month for the sewers.

Markut made a motion, seconded by Stefanski, to amend ordinance 98-3 in regards to the frozen meter policy now to be also known as 01-1, Motion passed unanimously

Stefanski made a motion, seconded by Derks, to give a sewer credit to John Greenhill of $277.75 due to a large water leak at W928 Primrose, Motion passed unanimously

No action was voted upon in regards to any leaks found by Westrum Leak Detection Co. until we get all the results

But letters will be sent out to customers that have leaks

Markut made a motion, seconded by Stefanski, in accordance with Section 19.85 (1)(g), Wisconsin Statutes, to go into closed session to confer with legal council regarding litigation in which the PLSD #1 may become involved relative to improvements, Motion passed unanimously

Derks made a motion, seconded by Markut, to go into open session, Motion passed unanimously

Date of next meeting will be May 21, 2001 at 6:00 pm

Stefanski made a motion, seconded by Markut, to adjourn. Motion passed unanimously.
