Minutes from the Regular Monthly Meeting on Monday September 15, 2003.

 

Call to order at 6:00 p.m. by Markut

 

Commissioners: Bill Markut, John Derks and Paul Schneider present. Also present was Pete Ludwig, Attorney

 For the District and Bob Benson, Engineer for the District

 

Pledge of Allegiance

 

John Derks verified agenda posting on Friday September 12, 2003

 

Schneider made a motion, seconded by Markut, to approve the minutes from the August 18, 2003 regular meeting, the minutes from the Open Hearing on September 3, 2003, and the Special Open Meeting of September 3, 2003 Motion passed unanimously

 

Schneider made a motion, seconded by Derks, to approve check nos. 5346 to 5407, Motion passed unanimously

Balance on hand $3,280,159.37

 

Pete Ludwig gave the Attorney’s report as follows: All appears top be o.k. with the Regency Hills application

 

Bob Benson presented the Engineers report which is attached

 

No action was taken on the request from Ray Leffler in regards to annexation into the District as no was required.

 

Schneider working on changing banks for the District

 

Derks made a motion, seconded by Schneider, to contract Lane Tank Co., Inc, of Mosinee, Wisconsin for the amount of $650.00, to do the five year inspection of the elevated tank contingent on all the steel for the radio antennae being in place before the inspection, Motion passed unanimously

 

No action on the repair of the roads

 

Derks made a motion, seconded by Schneider to approve an amendment to Ordinance 99-2, now 03-5 regarding the sampling of private wells, Motion passed unanimously

 

Markut made a motion, seconded by Derks, to charge nonresidents $20.00 for each assessment payoff quotes. Residents would be allowed one free request per year. All further requests by residents would be the $20.00 fee, Motion passed unanimously

 

Date of next meeting will be October 20, 2003

 

Markut made a motion, seconded by Schneider, to adjourn. Motion passed unanimously.
