Minutes from July 19, 1999
Meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by BILL MARKUT
Roll Call - All commissioners present (Markut, Stefanski, & Derks) including Tom Delatowski and Chuck Sommer from Baxter and Woodman
Verification of agenda posting was done by John Derks at Town Hall, Monroes, PLSD office and Pell Lake Post Office on July 16, 1999
Motion by Derks, seconded by Stefanski to approve meeting minutes of June 21, 1999 general meeting. Motion passed unanimously
Motion by Stefanski, seconded by Markut , to approve the payment of bills, Check #’s 1175 to 1183, 1038 to 1040, 1972 to 2015, Balance on hand $3,143,180.63 Motion passed unanimously.
Chuck Summers presented the Engineer's Report.
Tom Delatowski presented attorney’s report
Lake Management & Rehabilitation Committee report given by Frank Chesen, reviewing results of survey
Derks made a motion to adopt Ordinance 99-5 amending Ordinance 97-1, seconded by Markut, Motion passed unanimously
Eileen to contact Dave Wagner and ask him to contact DNR concerning contingency fund
Markut made a motion to adopt the grinder pump policy, seconded by Derks, Motion passed unanimously
Derks made a motion to adopt the Relocation Order for Wozniak, seconded by Stefanski, Motion passed unanimously
Derks made a motion to grant extensions to the following properties: N1302 & N1304 Catalpa Road, N1112 Jonquil Terrace, and N1208 Trumpet, seconded by Stefanski, Motion passed unanimously
Derks made a motion to recind the motion to purchase a 1999 Chevy truck for $20,280, seconded by Markut, Motion passed unanimously
Derks made a motion to purchase a 1999 Dodge truck for $20,021, seconded by Stefanski, Motion passed unanimously
Markut made a motion to order a 2000 model truck and for Derks to get more quotes, seconded by Derks, Motion passed unanimously
No action was taken on the light on the water tower, light stays on
Next meeting date is August 16, 1999
Markut made a motion adjourn, seconded by Stefanski, Motion passed unanimously, meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
