Ordinance No. 98-4
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE REGULATION
OF SNOWMOBILE TRAFFIC ON PELL LAKE

The commissioners of Pell Lake Sanitary District No. 1, Bloomfield Township, Walworth County, Wisconsin do ordain as follows:

Section 1. This ordinance is enacted pursuant to the provisions of 60.77 (5) of the Wis. Statutes for the purpose of regulating snowmobile traffic on Pell Lake.

Section 2. (a) Snowmobiles operating in the channel on the westside of Pell Lake, north of Lake Shore Drive and East of Clover Road, shall enter at the North entrance and proceed in a counter-clockwise direction exiting at the South end.

1. Speed on ice within the channel shall be limited to 15 mph.
2. It shall be unlawful for anyone to operate their snowmobile contrary to the provisions of this ordinance.
3. Any person who shall violate any provision of this ordinance shall be subject to a forfeiture of not less than five dollars nor more than five hundred dollars upon conviction.

Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage publication.
